Resmed Software v3.07 vs 3.12

Post by spitintheocean » Sat Oct 30, 2010 12:21 am

I've been operating an S8 Autoset II with the v3.07 software and card reader on both a Windows XP and a Windows 7 computer. I see that Resmed has now made available v3.12 which I understand to be backward compatible to the S8 equipment. Uncle Bob's efforts have not gone unnoticed.

Will I see any benefit in upgrading my existing v3.07 software for ongoing use with the S8 in the form of better report structure, etc or do the improvements really only accrue to those blessed with the S9 equipment?

Help me before I do another terrible upgrade like XP to Vista.

I upgraded from 3.11 to 3.12 on Win 7 x64 with absolutely no problems.

One new feature (introduced in 3.11, I believe) is a check box at the bottom of the download settings window that allows you to make the current settings the default. You don't have to select the detail and high rate data and set the number of days each time you download. A small thing, but nice.

This ResMed S9 Elite is great. Going on 7 weeks now. How do I get the software for it to download and see the data that would be so interesting?
