And here's hoping you have a good night of sleep. I know how annoying that slight hissing can be ...

I'm sorry that you're having this problem, Madalot, and I hope that the work-around solves the problem for you so you can continue to use the F&P 431 mask. John's idea is worth a try too, as temperature and/or humidity changes could be contributing to the problem.

I know that you don't like the Respironics mask for several reasons, but if you're stuck with that for the time being and headgear removal is the major problem, you may want to look at these "quick clips" made for the Respironics masks: https://www.cpap.com/productpage/Respir ... -Clip.html. You only need one clip, as only one strap normally needs to be unhooked for mask removal. You can ask someone at cpap.com to confirm that the quick clip would work with your particular Respironics mask.

Good luck! I hope that you sleep well tonight.

Thank you for this. If I end up having to try to use that mask, I will definitely check out those clips.

A great suggestion and help - -thanks.

The humidity suggestion is another one I need to try, but I need to find my silly humidifier -- I think it's in the basement.
