Hi,
Kind of a silly question:
I took the SD card out of my apap and stuck it in my cardreader that I have from my camera. I wanted to see if there was anything useful there, even w/o the software. In case you have ever wondered this, the answer is no. Just a bunch of gibberish.
Anyway, it's almost time to exchange the card so my DME can do whatever they think they are doing with it. But now all the files on the card are "associated" with wordpad. How can I change that? Or, could I just delete everything on the card? My machine has some kind of internal memory, so will it be able to just write all the data from this month back onto the card?
I did ask the nurse from the DME if I could have a copy of my report, and she said, "I don't see why not - it's part of your medical record." I asked if I needed to fill out a release to have it sent to me, and she said, "I'll have to check - NO ONE HAS EVER ASKED FOR A COPY BEFORE"!!
Thanks for your help!

Re: SD card question
Just put the card back into the machine and it will rewrite the files. If there is a problem it will prompt you to erase the card. If that does not work erase it on the computer and put it back in. It should still have all the info on the machine. I am assuming you have an S9 but if you have a system one I am not sure.

DebMA,
The wordpad association is only an association on your computer. It should not have changed anything on your card. You don't need to do anything.

Re: SD card question
I have a System One, and recently put a new card into my machine (since my DME needed my card, and I still wanted daily information via the software I purchased). The System One machine wrote ALL of my information onto the new card. So, I would try putting the card back into the machine and see if you get any error readings. My guess would be no. But if you did, then try erasing the information on the card (by using your computer if you have to), and then put it back into your System One. All the information should then be there.
