System One Resistance with Swift FX
System One Resistance with Swift FX
Does anyone use a PR System One machine with Swift Fx nasal pillows AND use the System One Resistance? I had been using a ComfortGel mask, and was able to determine which Resistance setting to use. But now that I have a Swift FX to try, I do not know what Resistance setting to use.

Re: System One Resistance with Swift FX
Some say turn it off or set it to 0 if you are using a non Respironics mask. Others say to find a comparable mask in the Respironics line and set it for that.
I have tried both and cannot detect any difference.

Re: System One Resistance with Swift FX
Search for PR SYS 1 resistance settings in the forum, you don't get resmed masks, but comparable pillows get you 4 for small, 2 for med and 1 for large, I don't notice a difference.
Any landing you walk away from is a good one; if you don't break your airplane it's excellent.

What doesn't make sense to me is that the small is 4, the medium is 2, but the extra small is 3! How does that work?mayondair wrote:Search for PR SYS 1 resistance settings in the forum, you don't get resmed masks, but comparable pillows get you 4 for small, 2 for med and 1 for large, I don't notice a difference.
I know, I will be experimenting. I was just looking for a place to start, if anyone happened to be using this machine/mask combination.
