Could you share your opinion

Post by finecomm » Thu Dec 02, 2010 3:38 pm

I am a writer and a sleep apnea sufferer myself. I have been a member of this forum for about a year. I decided to write some articles about people's frustrations with sleep apnea so first I am doing some research. Please help me by stating in your own words: 1) What is your greatest concern or frustration about having sleep apnea? 2) How did you find out you had it?

Please email your response to me at sfineman54@gmail.com.
Thank you in advance for your time.

For several years I have complained to my primary physician about chronic fatigue. He suggested that I be tested for sleep apnea last year; this year I finally acceded to his request and found that I have severe OSA (36.8 AHI). My main concern after reading about the condition is that I am putting abnormal strain on my heart by not breathing properly all night which raises the possibility of a stroke or other cardiac problems; my fatigue level is way second to that concern.

I have a vision that we will figure out an easy way to ensure that children develop wide, deep, healthy and attractive jaws and then obstructive sleep apnea becomes an obscure bit of history.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ycw4uaX ... re=related
