High Pressure Masks

Post by Chapppy » Sun Nov 28, 2010 1:32 pm

ok I have tried 9 masks thus far, what is the best mask for higher pressures? I was at 24 / 20, recently reduced to 16.5, I currently rotate between a comfort gel and a Fisher & Paytel both seem to leak the least...at my previous 24 the Fisher & Paytel was the best

My mother in law has a pressure of 24 and uses the Resmed Ultra Mirage II nasal mask for the last 6 years and is quite happy with it.

I use the ResMed UltraMirage full-face mask. I've been happy with it for six years. I've also tried the "zzz mask" (it's a different name/manufacturer depending where you ask) and that works well, but it shoots leaks much more often than the UMFF does.

Keep trying- you'll find one eventually.

I also have some high pressures and I use the F&P 431. It does hold up fairly well for me under these pressures.

I have found the FItLife Total Face Mask to work best for me at high pressures, up to 25. After that I began to have some leaking that would keep me awake adjusting and readjusting the mask. High pressures are really had to deal with without leaks. I am glad to get some ideas for different masks thaat don't leak at these high pressures.
