Are your eyes red as well
What type of mask are you using
Do you have any air leaks around you nose

my eyes are not red ..the swelling puffiness is red. I am using a Mirage Activa 407 mask.
this is the third one since my diagnosis in October.
My pressure was just lowered from 10 to 8 because of abdominal problems I am having.
It seems like one thing after the other adjusting.

The redness is that just in the area where the mask is in contact with the skin

I'm interested to hear what others have to say on this because I get that also. Puffyness under the eyes. It started a few weeks ago. It is almost like an allergic reaction. I've changed masks and cleaned everything with vinegar and a couple different types of soap without success. After I'm up for an hour or so it goes away.

I don't know why it would be red, but whenI was using a quattro I routinely woke up with swelling under the eyes and on my eyelids. Very puffy, took a long time to go away.
When I switched to a mask that didn't put pressure on these tender areas it stopped. I use a FitLife Total Face Mask now with no more swelling.

I had the same swelling under my eyes when I wore my back up mask the quattro. My doctor put me on a water pill and the problem dissapeared the next day.

I am like Mary Z... I use the total face mask. I get redness around the seal of the mask. I use Afta (after shave lotion) every morning and the redness is gone before I "hit the door".

I use a Zest mask and get swelling under my eyes every time I where it no matter how I adjust the mask. It looks like bags under my eyes.

I'm going to switch to an air pillow device because of this.

then i am not alone in this - i look so bad with the swellings in the morning .. i think i will just continue to use ice.
ice seemd to help them go down a bit.
I will ask my RT about this when i see here. if it gets too much then i will call.
If you all find any remedies please let me know

I developed puffy bags under my eyes when I switched from a Mirage Activa LT (nasal mask) to the Mirage Quattro Full Face. I am a mouth breather and was unable to overcome the mouth breathing. My leak rate is almost zero with the Quattro . The puffiness subsides in an hour or two so I haven't worried about it. However I haven't a clue as to why it occurs.
