On my message boards, guests can only post in one place. All other forums require a login. Guests can READ anything they want, but can't reply or post in anything other than the Welcome forum.

That being said, it's up to each administrator to know what THEY want out of a site and it is patently wrong for me to second guess any other message board admin as to how they have their site set up.

In THIS case... on THESE forums... I can see where someone may be shy about identifiying themselves at first. This is a personal kind of affliction and in my own experience, not understood by a lot of family members, friends, etc. So to be able to come in here and post as a guest is .... to me .... understandable.

So... if "Guest" has something productive to contribute, or needs help with a question, or something like that... I'm there (if I know anything... hehehe)

And if "Guest" doesn't have anything nice to say then "Guest" gets ignored and I move on. We all have feelings, but having them hurt by "Guest" is like having them hurt by a "Ghost".

I'm not siding with anyone ... just voicing opinion. Maybe I'm just too easy.
