Question about EncoreViewer 2.0 Software

Post by Pat Harman » Mon Nov 01, 2010 7:13 am

I am about to purchase the EncoreViewer 2.0 Software. I have a question. Can the software be loaded on more than one machine?

I do not have an answer for you but I do have an additional related question for the forum.

Can Encore 2.0 be installed on a PC running Windows 7 64bit?

Yes, it can be loaded on more than one machine.

People have been reporting issues with loading it on a Windows 7 64 bit machine. Do a search here to see what the workarounds are.

Thanks for your question, I am wondering if you need this card reader thing or does that come with the software? I just had my machine changed to auto last week - so far I have had good and not so good nights - have no idea how its helping me. I think the DMR is liking my lack of knowledge and my gut says I may be getting just half answers to my questions. I am reading here a lot but since I do not know the "lingo" some of it is beyond me I fear. One good thing though is I am having less headaches - yeah!

The PR System One auto has a regular SD memory card and it can be read by any memory card reader. I use the one on my printer.

I ordered the software and appreciate knowing I can load on more than on machine. You can get the software with or without a card reader I have an M series cpap which has a non-standard card. Many cpap machines use SD cards which many computers and digital cameras have built in.

My next voyage of discovery will be learning to understand the reports and data I will get from the software. Fortunately, there is a lot of information, and assistance on this board.

If you have the M Series machine, you will need a special card reader because it has a smart card (size and shape of a credit card).

With the PR System One, a regular memory card reader works with it because it is an SD card.

Just want to clarify the difference.
