Mask Size Help Please!

Post by Christen » Sat Oct 30, 2010 4:53 pm

I just found this message board, how neat.. Watch out though, I have lots of questions.

I have been on cpap for two years now and have been using the same blue mask for the same amount of time. I wash it every day, but my brother-in-law tells me that i have worn out my mask.

I have not replaced my mask because I don't have insurance and when I look online I want to try different masks, but I don't know my size.

How do the rest of you find out your size?

Thank you in advance,

Christen

Actually if you go to http://www.binarysleep.com I think they might answer your questions a lot better.

Look at your mask it should have some kind of marking as to the size. Also do you know the brand of your mask?

welcome to the forum.

mask size can be tricky. i'm between a med and large-all dpending on the mask model AND manufacturer.

cpapauction.com along with some other sites have mask at reasonable price. check the listing for new, or used. some are in mfg packages some not -buyer beware.

as said our sonsor has "insurance " which could be purchase so if it doesn't fit you can return it.

i got a free "sample " from my sleep lab . all i have to do is call them with feedback for the manufacturer.

keep an eye on the posts . sometimes menbers here have spares the didn't use or used once and didn't like they are willing to give to someone who needs it.
