I just got back from shrink-wrapping two 42 ft sailboats for the winter, and I am so stiff and sore that I can hardly move Used a lot of muscles that haven't been used for a while!

I'm sure we can solve this thing with your help. What I'll do in the next day or so is produce a special debug version of MyEncore that will give more explicit reasons on why it cannot access the SQL server. Then I'll have those who are having problems run it and send me the results. I'll PM those above (especially Tom since he seems to meet the criteria I set) with instructions on what to do...

Never fear, Derek's here...

Oh yea,,,, I tried an uninstall and re-install ,,,,, same thing.

People,
I just created a new account on my computer with "limited" priviledges. I was unable to access the database through this account, and got the MyEncore screen asking for the password. When I switched back to my regular account with "Administrative" priviledges everything worked fine again.

Would you please verify that your computer account has Administrator priviledges, and if not try logging on to Windows as Administrator and then trying to run MyEncore.
