New CPAP PRO

I recently purchased the CPAP PRO Nasal Interface device. I have been a CPAP user for about 5 years. I thought this new device might be more comfortable than the mask I have been using. I tried three time to remold the mouthpiece so that it doesn't fall off while I am sleeping. I have not been able to get it to stay in place. I had to go back to using my old mask. After paying $179.00 for this I am completely dissatisfied. Am I supposed to use a denture adhesive to keep the mouthpiece in place?

Hi - maybe a dumb question, but did you try on the new mask before you bought it, or only buy it based on how it sounded online? If you had bought it from Cpap.com, you could have also had the return insurance and been able to give it back for a refund (minus the insce. fee). The mask may be completely unsuitable for you, or just the wrong size and/or adjustment - have you tried discussing it with the dealer? There are so many different masks available now you shouldn't have to be 'this' unsatisfied with what you bought. And no, you should certainly not have to stick the mask to your face every night. Adhesive 'fixes' are for short term problems, or e.g. one small nagging spot that leaks all the time in an otherwise very satisfactory mask, but not what you describe.
