I've Gotta Crow!

Post by Slartybartfast » Thu Sep 23, 2010 9:38 pm

Ok, I just have to tell someone. I had the best night of sleep I think I have ever had last night. Tightened the straps on my Opus 360 a little, which eliminated the troublesome mask leaks which had been waking me during the night. I think the straps had been stretching slightly. No leaks last night, and pressure stayed down near the low set point. Only one central, one obstructive and two hypopneas all night. AHI was almost nothing. Woke a couple of times briefly to see if the machine was still running. It was so quiet. Opened my mouth to check, and yep, it was. Breathing trace on ResScan showed the waking, then changed back to sleeping pattern 5 breaths later. Woke to the alarm at 0530, worked until 5:30 pm and had a great day. Feel at least 10 I.Q. points smarter, too.

CPAP Rocks, as my son would say!
