Encorepro 2 question

Post by detcord » Wed Sep 22, 2010 10:05 am

Just recently "acquired" a copy of Encore pro 2 and have a question. It installed well, and seems to work well for me, but the reason I wanted it was for the sleep waveform info. Currently I have around a week of use with it, but only one nights info has the waveform info with it. Is this something that the machine only reports at a set interval, or do I have something set wrong? Thanks with the help with this in advance. Kevin

I think only the most recent night...one night... is all the waveform data it provides.

Here's a link Pad-A-Cheek sent me to an interesting "webinar" presentation. It's a Respironics guy teaching DMEs how to use Encore Pro 2. In the presentation he covers the waveform data.

You have to fill out a form before the presentation will play, but you don't have to put in your real info or real email addy. Just fill the required blanks with whatever you want.

Thanks for the link. A lot of great info in there for anyone using the Encore pro or encore viewer.

What did you put in for "title" and "company" to view this? Thanks.

Yeah, the waveform report is replaced on your card every night, so if you want to save all of them, you need to download your data to your computer every day.

Make sense?

I put "ms" for title and "A" for company. I also used "A" for my first name and "A" for my last name.

I put my email addy as "A@blah.com"

They don't send a password or anything via email that you have to use to get to view it, so it really doesn't matter what you put in for anything. I did use a real town (not mine) and real zip code for that town, and a real state. Otherwise I used just the letter A to fill in most of the blanks.

I just watched this webinar link that Rested Gal posted.

It was excellent!! I have Encore Viewer 2 with my System One Auto but I still got a LOT of information and help in interpreting my reports!

It was interesting to see, and have explained, the waveform reports, that are only available with Encore Pro 2. It would be interesting to have that but the way he explained the report, without that, was so helpful, and my therapy is optimal right now, that I doubt that I would need that information a lot.

Even if your therapy is not optimal yet, you can get a lot of information here without the waveform reports.

I have looked at the Intellipap webinars and now this one for PR System One and, between the 2 of them, I have really learned a lot about what my data tells me!

Anyone who is using Encore Viewer and really wanting to know how the PR System One data is interpreted should view this. It takes just under an hour and I made notes. I can look at my data and understand it in much more detail now. I can see what might suggest a setting change and what that change might be with the Long Term Trend data as well as the nightly detailed data.

I wish the PR site had some download cards/charts like the Intellipap site has so that I could save them!

Thanks for this link, Rested Gal!!

You're welcome, but the thanks really go to Pad-A-Cheek. She sent me the link.
