Actually what woke me up sometimes was this roaring sound out my mouth - like something from "The Exorcist"! I'll do the nasal mask one more time tonight and give it a break.

My "hobby" has been paining part of the house lately and I try to think about anything but that when I am not doing it. Maybe I should just go to sleep.

Remember, there's always taping, chin-up strips, and/or chin straps if you decide to go back to nasal pillows.
You're right, the Quattro leaked a lot. My numbers were fine, but I snored twice as much. I think I will go back to the nasal Soft Gel. THe few exorcist breathing episodes do nothing to hurt my scoring and I don't feel any the worse in the morning. I think its time to stop adjusting and go back to normal and enjoy being rested.

There you go, Jon, good perspective.

Wait until you've had a couple of months of good sleep in a row. Your wife is going to have to have a huge "honey do" list to keep you out of trouble after that!

Nah, I've got my own list! A pretty long one in fact.

I do feel like an idiot for starting CPAP in 1997, stopping, and then finding in 2010 that it really helps. Then again, lots of things make me feel that way.

It's hard enough now, with all of the advanced technology and many choices of masks to adjust to CPAP therapy. I can't imagine how much harder it must have been in 1997--like sleeping next to a vacuum cleaner all night, from what I hear. No EPR, No auto machines, and probably no humidification. Yikes!

Don't beat yourself up for that! Look ahead and see how the world will open up to you now.
