Breakfast that is hilarious! what a rascal!

I have to admit there are some people on the board who I envision AS THEIR cat avatar photos..

EMELIA.. I can ONLY think of you as your cat! YOU ARE THAT cat! I would fall over dead if I ever saw that you were human!

Same with Julie.. Julie is a white cat, end of story.

This is BooBoo, the Halloween cat. He was a little annoyed with me when I took his picture.

i have 2 - sisters - smoke and smudge, 7 years old, and to bring it on topic i plan to tell my PCP AND sleep doc that they need to put in my files - when i tell you the cats are sleeping by my face there is a problem in need of correction. just prior to initial dx i was getting annoyed that they kept sleeping so close to my face. it was a new habit i just couldn't seem to break them of. after starting to sleep with the cpap they went back to their habit of sleeping by my feet. a year later i was discussing an issue with my PCP and she thought it was due to the apnea - i originally didn't - then said come to think of it the cats are sleeping by my face again - turned out i DID need a cpap pressure adjustment. a few months ago they were moving up the bed again - found out a week ago i needed a different mask size. next night back at my feet. from now on if they sleep closer to my face than my feet i am calling the doc and telling her SOMETHING is wrong or needs adjusting

This is my jerkbag sitting on top of a kitchen cabinet, angry that he'd been found there and would not be able to blitzkreig anyone.

He even looks grouchy in the picture.

Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.

I have 5 cats, much to my husband's dismay (but he gave me permission and picked them up for me). The two in my avatar are my latest additions, both adopted from the local humane society. Billy (black and white) and Hershey (solid chocolate -- unusual for a cat). We got both of them this past spring, after the last one we adopted from the Humane Society last October got sick after 7 months and had to be put down. He broke our hearts. He was a real character.

We have another black and white cat, also adopted from the Humane Society -- named Oreo (aka Cookie). Oreo is cute, but he is HUGE. His favorite toy is a string and he walks around the house with it hanging out of mouth, somehow meowing like crazy with it. He is asking someone to play with him.

My other two we've had for about three years -- Tommy (aka Stinkpot) and Callie (aka Bippy), a brother and sister combo that a local private school gave us after they rescued them from a neglective home.

We also have two dogs -- a 10-year old chocolate lab named Dakota and a 12-year old mix of beagle and redbone coonhound (also a rescue) named Zack. The dogs are mostly outdoor dogs so the cats have the run of the house. The newest kitties haven't met the dogs yet!!

My avatar is one of three cats I own. Fay likes to lounge around on the couch and sleep a lot, kinda like me. She has a sweet quiet little voice, very unlike me.

Do you have a cat?
If your cat is not in your avatar, post a picture of him, her, them! Tell us about your cat(s)
elena that does not look like a Dobie in your avatar!!! :D

I love animals but lately they are getting as old as me. I lost my 2 Cockatiels and my diabetic orange tabby cat named "Reload".
Image

I still have my two dogs. Gus, a Golden Retrever and Mac, a Shih Tsu. Mack is also getting very old, don't know how much longer he will be with me. Gus just turned 6.

My S-I-L's cat just had a kitten which is still to young to leave moma but she is trying to talk me into taking it own. Can't decide if I will be around long enough to take care of it and would hate to leave it behind or if it can handle Gus.

I don't have pets anymore, but I surely did enjoy seeing and hearing about your pets. They all look like keepers to me!
