Warm Humidifier issue

I was wondering if any other newbie is having trouble getting use to breathing in warm air when your room is cool? Is there such a thing ass a cool humidifier that blows cool air?

have u tried turning your humidifier down? the temp controls? not sure if that would help.

I use my humidifier in passive mode, meaning that I have water in the chamber but I do not turn the heat up. I leave it set at 0. You don't say what machine you are using but that's what I do.

In the winter, on very cold nights, I sometimes have the humidifier set at 1 or 2.

It also might depend on where you live. I live in Southwestern Ontario in Canada and this works fo me.

Some, people, however, need some heat and some a lot of heat no matter where they live.

I leave my setting at 0. The air coming out is cool. I can't stand any warmth blowing at my face. -Kim

I use a remstar m series with humidifier. Im gonna try the zero tonight and see how that goes...Thanks for the help.
