Re: HSP and adjustment to -pap therapy (self-test)
Interesting concept! 21 of the statements are true for me, which places me solidly in the HSP category. Don't know how that correlates with adjusting to cpap therapy as I had a pretty smooth start.

Re: HSP and adjustment to -pap therapy (self-test)
Yes. But the HSP "symptoms" have gotten better after starting cpap. It has not hindered my ability to adjust to cpap, I took to it like a fish to water. I was a very "deep sleeper" before cpap. If anything, I was determined to make cpap work because I felt so crappy (physically and psychologically) and was sure this was the answer to my prayers, so to speak.

Re: HSP and adjustment to -pap therapy (self-test)
Yes, and I often struggle to attain good sleep. I often use headphones to eliminate most outside sound. I use music as a "white noise" to cover external sounds. I sometimes use the RemZzzzs mask liners when my mask starts to leak more than normal. I even use medication to help increase my sleepiness.
It's a constant struggle, but the improved sleep definitely is a payback for the effort.

Well, I checked only two -- the "conscientious" one, and "noticing if others are uncomfortable."
If they'd had this question, "Does it drive you nuts to wear a finger clip pulse oxi thingy?" I could have marked three!

Re: HSP and adjustment to -pap therapy (self-test)
I scored highly sensitive and I still struggle every night trying to get to sleep with something strapped to my face. It's my three year anniversary in a couple of days and I'm still not used to it.
