How bad is my wkend going to be?

Post by Swordz » Mon Nov 14, 2005 9:57 pm

My septoplasty and turbinate reduction are this Friday, the 18th. i'm still debating a tonsilectomy or UPPP, but really see no reason for either. Both are outpatient and really no big deal, but how long am i probably not going to be able to do my "normal" stuff?

How much pain and what exactly will i not be able to do? Am I gonna be on pain killers and be a walking crack head this wkend?

You look pretty young and from the sound of your past postings you did not fair well with the old CPCP.

I have about 20years on you and I am having the Septo and Turbo done in Deccember. I was told that my tonsils were quite large, but was swayed out of that proceedure by my new doc.

I wish you luck and I am hoping to here back fro you on how it went.

You are young so you should heel up pretty fast.

Good luck to you. You will do just fine.

You will be out of action for a few days, but each day will be much better than the day before. I have had what you are having TWICE and I am living (quite nicely) to tell about it. Was it worth it? - absolutely.

Good luck and take care!
