IF you know how then it wasn't meant for you
tag - you're it
Then you weren't responding to my post, just echoing my thoughts on the matter?
tag - you're it.
I guess I wasn't very clear.
tag - you are OUT!

Apparently you have no worthwhile comeback, so I'm going to declare myself the winner.

We do support tags. We implemented the feature with the cpaptalk redesign a while back but it was not used.
If its broken will fix it and if its clunky, I'll field suggestions and improve it. Which website should they work like?
Tags at a good idea.

Does Johnny read ALL the threads?! Wow, that would be a lot of work. I still would love to know if we come up in dinner conversation.

Hi Everyone,
I recently started putting my bookmarks on Delicious, which allows tagging. The implementation on that site is great! I'm using it for a collection of recipes that is far too large, but I can tag a particular one as vegetable, grilled, salad, recipe, zucchini. The neat thing is that searching is totally free form and works as your mind does. I can get at that recipe by starting with grill, vegetable, salad, etc. As you start typing a tag the program brings up the closest tag which cuts down on the typing. If I have 600 recipes I can now find the one I want.
I think they would help a lot on this site. When I first signed up, I was pretty religious about tagging. I didn't know if it helped searching but it seemed that it should.
Thanks, Ozij for bringing this back up, and Johnny for supporting it. Check out delicious.
Thanks,
Mr Capers

I used tags when they were first implemented. Worked great, until people started tagging EVERYTHING and then I sort of got lost in the Tag Cloud. I had tagged a few things myself even.
Anyway my serious post in the other categories thread was about keeping the Wiki updated. Even with categories/tags/whatever, you still need to search through a bazillion threads... the Wiki should be the best place to start, but even then it's hard to see what info is in the Wiki, I myself cannot find the info I need on there sometimes. The hierarchy is hidden and there's no "site map".
But back to tags, if we could get them to work in an effective way I think they are a Great Idea. Good initiative Ozij.
