Shar,

A few months ago, I was tooting my horn a bit about how well Rescan worked on my Macintosh. A few days later, I went to read my data card, and it didn't work. I messed with it for about 2 hours, and still no go. I was baffled at why it didn't work, and what I could have done to break it. Suddenly, in total embarrassment, I figured out that I had the data card upside down in the card reader. I flipped the card over, and it worked perfectly. And I am supposed to know a few things about computers...I nearly had to turn in my geek club membership over that one.

I'm still swapping out different trial masks. I preferred the SLTFH over the other pillow, but continued to have trouble with it shifting out of place. If it was comfortably fitted, ie. just floating under the nostrils, it felt perfect for falling asleep. However it seemed I'd have to reposition it so many times a night for shifting out of place after waking up to the noise of it leaking. Annoying. Yet when I snug it up a bit to keep it in place, I feel like the thing is jammed up my nose and giving me the sensation of it being harder to breathe. Just swapped from S to XS, but haven't noticed a significant difference.

Also, anyone else have issue with the thing whistling on exhales?

I'll check out that link to those videos, thanks.

Sandra,

I had that happen with one particular set of nasal pillows a while back. It hadn't happened to me before that, and hasn't happened to me since then. The pillows wear out quickly enough, so I put up with it for about 8 weeks. If you have someone sleeping near you, however, it will probably drive them insane. Try one of the other pillows and try rinsing the insides of the mask to see if the problem persists. You could have some loose plastic debris floating around inside the mask.
