Computer haikus...

Three of my favorites:
A file that big?
It might be very useful.
But now it is gone.
A crash reduces
Your expensive computer
To a simple stone.
You step in the stream,
But the water has moved on.

Be like the sun in love
Be like an ocean in friendship and brotherhood
Be like the night in covering the faults of others
Be like the black earth in humility and modesty
Be like a dead person in anger and hatred
Whatever you become,
Either be who you appear to be, or appear as who you really are
[Ya oldugun gibi görün, ya göründügün gibi ol]

Typically attributed to Mevlana (Rumi) but supposedly composed by a turkish poet based on a saying attributed to him (the last line: "Either be who you appear to be, or appear as who you really are"). And the words of the poem flow better Turkish....

If you want to be happy, either lower your expectations or increase your opportunities.
---
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. (re-take on TorontoCpapguy's quote).
---
I love those computer Haikus!
---
And MY personal favorite: "I'll be back"

Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing ever happened.
