I use the nasal pillow mask and can hear and feel air coming out through the little holes. Is this normal?

If you're referring to the little row of holes along the front of the barrel of the Swift, then yes..that is normal

If you mean the exhaust holes (be sure they are facing outwards ~ away from your face) the answer is yes. The smooth side (without the exhaust holes) should be against your face. Good luck with your equipment.
