Couple of hopefully quick basis questions on the ResScan 3.10
On the graphs view where the "Events" are shown with what looks like a post with a flag on top with a number on it--the vertical legend to the left goes from 0.0 to 45.00 but doesn't list units. Is this being reported as seconds of duration of that particular apnea? If it is not seconds then what are the units? I looked over the help files in the program but could not see this specified.
And is there any tutorial or instructions on how to use 3.10, except what's included in the "Help Files" in the program?
Also on Monday I see a new sleep doc, but not the one who prescribed the S9 and ResScan for me. I want to take in my S9 data for her to view. Should I "Export" my data as a crv file? Alternately I could take them a copy of ResScan 3.10 (they mainly deal with Respironics) and a data file. How do I get the data off my card (or what's been uploaded to my computer) for her to view?
Thanks

Re: ResScan 3.10 Questions
The legend (on the far left) is effectively seconds but you can resize this to what you want. What is important is the number on the top of each post, that tells you for sure how long the event/Apnea lasted for in each case.ldj325 wrote:On the graphs view where the "Events" are shown with what looks like a post with a flag on top with a number on it--the vertical legend to the left goes from 0.0 to 45.00 but doesn't list units. I can PM you the Clinicians manual. It's mainly for health professionals but might help.[/quote]ldj325 wrote:And is there any tutorial or instructions on how to use 3.10, except what's included in the "Help Files" in the program?
Also check out the resource i put together at the bottom of my post - http://www.osahelp.com as I think you will find that very useful on how to read and interpret the graphs.
You're importing it already so providing you don't click OVERIDE and click DISCARD it'll keep adding the data to ResScan. If you're concerned that they might corrupt or erase the SD card then you could create a folder on your PC and copy the entire contents of the card to it just in case.ldj325 wrote:Also on Monday I see a new sleep doc, but not the one who prescribed the S9 and ResScan for me. Thanks for the information. And I especially liked your web info site. It had great explanations on some of the things I suffer with.
