You have a point there. My state government has created jobs by funding and building toll roads and then outsourcing the work to illegal aliens so that the elected officials can campaign on hating them to get re-elected.
Of course, private industry is the primary cause of migrating jobs to third world countries ... but we already know that.

They had an equipment room with the best exercise equipment that could be bought, subsidized employees gym memberships, even brought in a yoga instructor three times per week, and ran all types of educational programs on diet, exercise and health topics.
Then this company you were involved with buys the best exercise equipment that could be bought and then goes and subsidizes employees gym memberships? What company idiot came up with those conflicting programs?
Dude. That is one polarized world you live in.
What a doubtful post.
Yes, that could be considered conflicting programs if you fail to consider other possibilities. Their goal was to get the employees healthy and they were trying every way possible to do that. Instead of conflicting, they were offering a choice. I could be wrong, but that's the take I had on it. I'm just guessing here, but I'm thinking that healthy employees miss less time from work, are better workers when they are there, productivity then goes up, etc. I worked briefly for a company that did something very similar and that was their take on it. Plus many prospective employees would see this as a company benefit, which could possibly bring better qualified folks into the company. The company and the employees can both win,
if the employees take advantage of what is offered. Just another possible way to look at at.

OK, so there is perhaps the possiblity of your view on the intention of this company with these conflicting/optional programs.
However, my point was that So Well's post was questionable and he cannot be satisfied because of his own polarized/contradictory (or selfish?) take on life ...

In other words, he was NOT praising the company's efforts as you have.
