Aussie Heated Hose---Wonderful...But....

Got my Aussie Heated Hose Yrsterday and used it last night and it was wonderful with No Rainout or Condensation and I slept soundly throughout the Night but Noticed a Plastic smell when I First turned on the Machine. I guess it was from the Aussie Heated Hose being new but the smell went away after a few minutes but upon awakening this Morning I had this Flushed feeling in my Face and noticed that my Face was very Red. I checked my B/P as I do every morning and it was in the Normal Range so I assume I had a Reaction to something in the Aussie Heated Hose. I am wondering if Maybe I should have washed the Aussie Heated Hose before using. Other than the Flushed Face It was a Wonderful night with the Aussie Heated Hose. Ant Aussie Heated Hose users ever have this Happen to you ? Thank you .

I have had my Aussie Heated Hose for about a year and I didn't experience that. I don't recall if there was a slight smell at first.

The gentleman at the place we order the Aussie Hose is very nice to talk with. You may want to call or email and inquire.

PS - I wouldn't recommend washing the hose.

I'd say the smell is normal for the new product. Give it a week and it won't be there anymore.
