OT A view from the road.

Post by carbonman » Sun May 09, 2010 6:20 pm

A glorious day of sunshine, for a change.
Warmest day of the year.
No snow, no ice, no rain.
51miles, feel'n so fine.
Aside from the miracle of cpap and a wonderful nights sleep,
I think the Eat like a Caveman diet is really creating a change.
I am feeling so strong. Even after the brutal winter we had,
I'm coming back strong and fast.

I decided to give you a look from the horse's mouth, so to speak.
Sort of puts into perspective what I see.
Did my Marshal/StVrain Rd. loop in Boulder.
On the way up, the morning sun was displaying the front range,
in all its spring glory.

I'll see you on down the road.

Nice! Good to see that you guys have decent road shoulders so you can get out of the way of the cagers (not that you need them, but that's a discussion for a different forum).

I won't be that far north when I pass along the southern edge of Colorado in June, but if you want to watch for me, we can wave as I go by (I'm on a crew for a team competing in Race Across America, as noted here:
viewtopic/t52015/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=49 ... 59#p456259 ).

As others have said, nice pictures as always! One of the things I like about riding feet-first is that if I mount a helmet cam, I don't have to strain my neck to have it look up enough to see birds flying...
