Hi guys,

This is my first post, was diagnosed with apnea a few weeks back, ahi = ~40.
After reading reviews, talked my doctor into ordering the S9 auto.

So like so many others I would appreciate the line on the ResScan 3.10 software.

thanks.

I am as of today the proud owner of the S9 Elite. Could I ask someone to PM me where I can find the 3.10 ResScan 3.10 software.

i sent you a PM. There are links to download the clinical manual for the ResScan software and the S9 itself on here if you search for them.

I am currently using the Resmed S9 autoset under a hiring arrangement but intend on purchasing the fixed S9 at the end of my hiring.

If someone could please provide me info on the Software too I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

This is a serious question- why bother with the software? The autos do a titration (sort of) each night and correct for changes needed as well as changes in you general pressure needs over time. If I've learned anything, it's that my needs do exceed the static pressure that was set following my titration study on the set unit I first received. The autos are the future- starting a couple years ago (and that future won't be long either) and the static units will be phased out. Perhaps consider buying an auto if you can so you don't end up w two machines. Do note that is just my two cents based on my experience. Go by what the "old timers" advise.

These machines do great things but the current method of air shunt delivery is horrid. As with all things, someone will come up with a better alternative to the current glorified aquarium pump connected to a hose connected to something that looks like something used in an ICU. And, when it happens, everyone will say "that's so simple, why didn't I think of it?" Well, maybe not. My guess is a mini auto titrating pump implant with a totally internal catheter system that tosses the air in as needed and may be combined and then replaced with a drug that specifically targets tissue that needs to stay open.

Laugh all you want- then go, for example, to Medtronics neurosurgical web site and read about products they already have/use for other conditions. It is stunning. By comparison, my idea is a walk in the park.

G-A check your PMs

speaker

Although the S9 provides the total number of apneas some of us like to see the detailed data in graph form so we can see when the events are happening and if there are any patterns.

Also the software automatically provides a log of your data so you don't have to write it down.

Hi all,

Received my S9 with h5i yesterday. Amazingly quiet machine. Would like to get the software for it if someone will pm with where to get it.
Also my heated tubing generated an error about halfway through the first night, and the machine doesn't like it anymore. anyone else have experience with this?

Thanks,

Michael
