It's all good.
It's all good.
Amidst all of the trials and tribulations that go on here
.....just wanted to let you know that, for me,
it's all good.
Pressure holding steady at 12.2cm/EPR 1.
Avg. AHI steady at 2.
Avg. AI steady at 0.1
Avg. time in apnea 0.
S8 continues to function, night after night.
Ozzy heated hose keeping things very comfortable.
PadaCheek mask liner performing without flaw.
Years of backup equipment in the closet.
Smartcard continues to transfer data, daily.
ResScan 3.7 continues to analyse and record
data without interruption.
Cpap has become one of the most secure things in my life.
I look forward to my nightly escape into the abyss.
It has become quite comforting to mask up and
feel the warm, soothing air start to flow.
I can always feel as my mask settles in and
my sin'i kind of crack and pop as they open up w/the humid air.
I think that if this my medical dilemma in life,
I'm good.

Thanks Carbonman --
I think we all need to see people that are doing well post -- gives those struggling hope that it can be done and become a comfortable (if not fairly easy) part of their lives.

Good to hear things are all good.
I feel pretty much the same way about my therapy.
I'm not sure i could actually get to sleep without the mask now

Dear Carbonman,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts - very soothing. I feel the same way about my cpap. The air, the whitenoise - all good. For me it is easy now. For my husband - a newbie since thursday evening, it's a whole other story. Will see if he can deal with a Quatro tonight instead.
Regards,
Jersey Girl

CM....
I feel like I've known you forever ...
to see how far you've come
Makes a Gumby proud
I remember when
You didn't know which end of the hose
to put on your head nor
which machine it was connected to
See I was there myself
so I knew how to extend my hand
Gumby was never any good
at prose
I hope others will see
if you and me can
learn all this cpap stuff
Soo can they...
Sleep well my friend....I do

I have no doubt, how I sleep affects every waking moment.
I am making progress-NOW I remember that I can't remember

If this isn’t rocket science why are there so many spaceshots?

Carbonman
Good to hear from you that all is going so well.
What still amazes me is how much there is to learn even after 5 years of doing this on a daily basis.
Mask leaks are the thing that has now come good for me after Karen sent me an anti-leak strap to
try. Amazing - just like turning a tap off & not even any drips
Cheers
DSM
PS I joined the carbon ranks last month - bought a used LOOK KG286 monocoque framed bike - has all
Ultegra groupset but I am upgrading parts of it to Dura-Ace. Not super light but at 8Kg is the lightest
machine in the collection. D

Re: It's all good.
Sounds great. I can't wait til that happens for me. After almost 2 months, I still feel the same, if not worse.
