Loving my Swift FX with nasal pillows. I do also have a Comfort Gel Nasal Mask and a Mirage Softgel Nasal mask. Really prefer the Swift.

Regards,

Jersey Girl

I was weaned on the nasal pillows, got stuffy, tried a full life face mask, it farted right off my face,
back to the nasal pillows, and decided to stop taping over my mouth, as I have no idea what was going on
when I was trying to cough thru that tape, or sucking on it trying to breath thru my mouth.

Its all been a disaster so far, but, oh well, like someone said HERE.. "onward and upward!"

(sometimes I feel like Im in a bad LUCY episode!"

I use the ResMed Mirage Micro nasal mask and it is the only one that I have used. They titrated me on a nasal mask but I did not catch what brand it was, all I knew was that I liked the nasal mask. I don't think I could use a ff mask. Cartainly not the kind that covers your eyes too. Grrr. I can imagine all the leaking in the eyes. Have a great evening, Huggies, Fay

FF - F&P 431. Love that it has a little chin rest. Keeps my mouth closed.

Presently alternating between a Quattro and a F&P HC431 FFM I am a mouth breather!

I am experimenting with the anti-leak strap from PadaCheek and a few home made pads for the HC431 to stop leakage problems.

Both give good results but the Quattro is easier to "fine tune" with the click stop adjuster.

And Howkim, I too like the "chin stop" on the 431. With the anti-leak strap my lips ar sealed

Cheers,

Dave

Just look at what's listed in the users' profiles and you'll see what we use.

I've been using the ResMed Ultra Mirage Full Face mask (UMFF) since I started therapy five years ago. I can't imagine anything else working any better for me......and I've briefly tried a few other full face masks.

ProBasics Zzz-Mask full face mask, Small. I've briefly tried the Respironics FitLife and liked it. Don't let the fact that it covers your full face including your eyes deter you from trying it. I have glaucoma and worry about drying my eyes, etc., too. But your eyes are closed and the pressure is diffused over such a wide area it just is not a problem or risk. According to my Respironics Rep when I questioned him about the eye issue he assurred me that the FitLife was thoroughly tested in a hospital setting before being offered for sale to the public.
