Resmed Data card reader

Post by SleepyBobR » Wed Apr 28, 2010 1:13 pm

Does anyone know where I can order a card reader for my S8 Elite II? They are no longer available on the CPAP.com site and I can't find anyone else selling them now. I was able to download the s/ware from the ResMed site for free but it's of now use to me without the card reader. Sorry if this has been answered before but I've searched and can't find anything current. My DME doesn't know and doesn't sell them.

Thanks. Who would have thought you'd have to buy it in Australia?
Pricey little item isn't it?

I installed Resscan 3.10 and it detected a very cheap Q-stor digital all in one usb reader

This thread is a about a Smartcard style reader for an S8 here, not the SD card reader for an S9

Cheers,

Bill

Merci

Yes it is.

I don't know why Resmed has different rules for the USA and Australia but I originally got my Resscan 3.3 (I think it was) complete with the S8 USB adapter when I got my original S8II Autoset for free when my Dr filled out a form saying I could have it.

cpap.com also used to stock and sell it but I guess they now are prohibited from doing that by Resmed.

It's due to the stricter regulatory environment in North America.
