I don't have a clue!! What is even stranger is that your old avatar is still showing on the little thumbnail on the subject page. I did not think it could do that!!

I'll bet someone at cpaptalk central is editing the forum system.
Hopefully it will resolve soon.

Either that or your kids/grandkids/etc. pulled a fast one on you. It wouldn't be the first time.

I hope that is what is happening!

No kids or grandkids here and I don't think our cats are that computer literate!!!

Actually my avatar is our 2 cats but we just have one cat now. The big orange guy, Pumpkin, had to be put to sleep in February. We miss him so much and that avatar reminds me of him everytime I come to the forum. He was only 12 years old. We still have little Pepper though.

It's important to me to see that avatar!

Try going to you control panel and deleting the avatar... exit and go back in and re-install the previous...

Maybe...

I miss your cats too since I know about Pumpkin. Hope you solve the mystery or maybe the Admin can.

On another subject, I may have missed it but how are you liking your new PR machine? Any major differences?

Yes, Dori, I hope they do get it sorted out soon! I liked looking at my 2 kitties together again everytime I can to the forum.

Actually, I got my new cpap last Thursday and only got the software today so I waited to change everything in my profile at the same time.

I seem to feel more rested. I certainly feel a difference in how the air feels coming through the mask. It feels softer, more natural, ---- I really don't know how to describe it but I like the way it feels and it is definitely different. I have left my settings the same but my 90% and my average pressure are down.

The software shows more things like centrals. I don't have many and a few night does not concern me at all. My apneas are pretty much the same. I have a lot more VS and not sure why. My husband tells me that I am not snoring at all. The machine is quieter except for the beep with auto and when I turn it off. That is a bit louder but no problem. The water chamber in the humidifier is larger and easy to fill, although I used the F & P stand alone with my M Series.

There are really no major differences but certainly some that I find positive. I need to learn more about interpreting the software data with this one.

I got it because the Canadian dollar is at about par right now and cpap.com had a good price! I did, of course, want to get one as I read about it here on the forum but waited until our dollar was in better shape and the software began looking like a real possibility!

So far so good!

Dear Hawthorne,

Your tiny thumbnail on the main page looks fine. But when I look on the thread here, you definitely have a changed avitar...wonder where it came from...it's a mystery to me!

Your friend,

Jersey Girl

.

Hawthorne,

You are not the only one with a changed Avatar . . . while reading posts I saw one I posted and my photo was GONE. In it's place is an avatar of a silhouette of a woman blowing bubbles

I also found that my photo is intact on the page where you change avatars . . . SOMEONE is playing pranks!

AHA - Dori, it worked I'm back, like it or not!

That's exactly what worked for me---after I noticed my smoking monkey avatar was back. No need to exit, though.

JoyD- I discovered the same thing you did when I went to my profile!

I hope it gets sorted out and back to normal! I sure don't like my "temporary" avatar!

OK, so I still currently still see Hawthorn's two cats in the post and the profile, that seems to be OK *for me*

But I also see JoyD's bubble blowing woman both in the post and in the profile.

How come I can see Hawthorne's cats and you can't? What the heck is going on??

You guys aren't cpaptalking in your sleep are you?

Have we been "Hacked"?

I think -SWS needs a shave. Also, I thought this was a "Smoke Free Forum"

EDIT: Gee I was just getting used to the smoking chimp too
