When is ResMed going to come out with a FFM that has:

Post by dcarreiro » Mon Apr 19, 2010 11:11 am

Now I am very new to CPAP but I thought I would post this to see what people think. And it is possible that these features are on the Quattro already or cannot be done on a full face mask. But I don't think so.

So when is ResMed going to come out with a Full Face Mask that has:
- Active Cell Technology
- Softgel

Any one else want to chime in on what they would like to see on a Full Face MAsk. Hopefully a system that doesn't destroy your nose. I am a professional and the head of a department. And when I walk into work I look like rudolf the red nosed reindeer. LOL. Not good for my business. however, I have gotten better to have the mask not hurt my nose as much. Which is a good thing.

Oh, yes!! I've wondered why they didn't have it already.

When are they gonna add a chin cup / strap to keep the damn thing from riding up?

A local DME supplier told me a couple months ago that ResMed would be releasing a new full face mask in the near future, but I haven't seen anything about it on the web.

I would LOVE to have a full-face Activa. It just makes so much sense

The problem with most/many people who use CPAP is the receding jaw, which causes mouth leaks on FFM's, so you'd THINK they would have a better solution there. Also the lower straps on the FFM always pull my jaw back (because I have to tighten the $#!@&%%! out of it to make the lower leaking stop) making the whole receding jaw effect even worse.

I finally used a Mirage Activa LT and it was great. I had a lot of technology that I wish the Quattro had.
