HOw long have you had the supplies?? All they need to do is credit them back to your acct. It is not a big deal. Lincare does do the 30 day mask guarantee.

Wow - it's really great that you found a DME that actually honors the thirty-day guarantee.

If you have an HSA or FSA, you can use that to cover the costs of masks so can do on income without taxes. If you have a high deductible anyway, this is the best way to cover the out of pocket costs whether insurance counts it toward your deductible or not.

Yep, purchased from cpapauction, eBay (before they cracked down on the sale of mask), craigslist, etc. Paid mostly out of pocket. Did some swapping and purchasing from other forum members as well!!

It can be done. If you want resell the ones you don't like or won't work for you.

I wore the mask they used in my titration for 22 months (well, I replaced it several times ). Then, I started losing therapy air and hadda get another mask. With severe claustrophobia & fear of suffocation, FFMs my only I thought completely freaked me out until someone suggested the Hybrid. I was determined this mask would work for me...somehow, someway. I got it last July. While I have gone thru 2 sets of pillows and am on the second oral cushion, it's holding up well.

My need for an APAP upgrade from my CPAP was refused by insurance as a medical necessity in spite of my doc's letter and my mask which no insurance-approved supplied carried -- they were deductions on last year's taxes as was all the distilled water & cleaners.
