smart card of bipap auto not giving data

Post by birdwood » Tue Mar 16, 2010 11:17 am

I have been using bipap auto for the last five years and obtaining reports through the Encore Pro software very satisfactorily. However, since the last two days, the smart card is not giving any result and instead the following crisp message appears on the report:
THERE IS NO DATA AVAILABLE FOR THIS REPORT.
I would be extremely grateful, if the worthy forum members could help, help, help and help me to get over the above difficulty. Lord bless thee always.

I would either insert a new formatted smart card or try to format that one if you do not have a second card, Good luck.

What specific machine are you using? M Series? The M Series machines have been known to skip the detailed data for a couple of nights in a row, but the detailed data is still there.......if it's recording.
Did it actually go through the download routine and put an "Interaction" in the list?

If all else fails, the Encore Pro software DOES have the ability to to erase/format/set-up a card. It's located in the smart card utilities.

Edit: Have you had that same machine for the whole five years? If it's five years old, I imagine it's the Legacy model and not the M Series......as the Bi-PAP Auto came out in 2005.
