ResMed Auto Spirit Arrived

Post by Severeena » Sat Oct 15, 2005 8:33 pm

My ResMed Auto Spirit arrived safe and sound this morning. I then switched my heated humidifier from my ResMed S7Lightweight and it fit perfect.

I put my new free tubing on my new machine and low and behold the tubing is 9 feet long. Yes you are reading correctly the tubing is 9 feet long.

I took a shower and washed my Hans Rudolph and the old tubing.

I filled the water resivoir and without thinking I turned the machine on without attaching the hose. Big mistake talk about an immediate shut down and error message. I did what any non instruction reading person would do. Shut the machine down completely wait a couple of minutes and then turn the machine back on. PERFECT.

This machine is just as quiet as my other one.

I am starting my pressure at 4 and the highest is 18. I decided on a wide range and then I will take a report of my readings and place them in my diary so my Sleep Doctor can look them over.

OH Happy Day.

Congratulations on your new arrival, Sharon. Let us know how you like it. Try not to get too excited tonight or you won't fall asleep, like in the early days of CPAP! I'm happy for you.

I have to be up early and out the door in the morning by 9:00AM because I am being baptized tomorrow and I need to meet with the pastor at 9:45 or earlier.

So how did you do on the auto? Could you tell any difference in you ability to sleep? I will be ordering an auto soon--Remstar Auto.
How did your baptism go?

I slept terrible.

I didn't have the machine set right. Seems all my Auto settings were turn off.

I checked them when I got home from church and turned everything back on.

The Baptism went quite well. but I had a problem trying to get back up out of the water. My knees wouldn't work.

Sorry for the bad night. Glad the baptism went well. Yes, I can imagine that if you have weakness in your legs, it would be difficult to get out with the weight of soaked clothes. At least they didn't let you drown.
Did Sun night go better for you? I'm sure with a bit of patience and perseverance you'll get it right.

biggziff, I accepted the Lord as my savior as a child and now am the wife of a Baptist pastor in New England.

Yes it was immersion Baptist style.

In fact it is the same church my husband was baptized in 10 years ago.

They accepted Tom back into the church right before I was baptized.
