Need advice from the Texan's

Post by montana user » Tue Mar 02, 2010 8:37 pm

I will be visiting southern Texas in August this year and wanted to get some advice. I hear it will be HOT, and humid. What is your humidity set to during the month of August? Anything else I should be aware of with the climate there that may affect my CPAP? Thanks!!!

Oh my goodness, I only live 45 minutes from Georgetown. Tx can get really humid, scorching sunlight, and stove cookin concrete. Just make sure you drink plenty of fluids, the heat can really drain the body.

I agree with MartyR. Should be in the mid to high 90's with moderate humidity in Georgetown. Hopefully you will be sleeping in AC which will lower the humidity in your sleeping quarters. I do still run my humidifier anywhere from off (passover) to 1 is usually enough.

Awsome thanks guys! I knew I could count on people on here! We were going to camp in our tent for a few days there and save money, but I changed plans to a building with A/C!!!! We have our days here that we hit 100 but they are far and few. Im excited though, my girlfriend is from there and is ALWAYS complaining about being cold. Now I can complain about being hot!!
