PulseOx 7500 Software Issue

Post by thecomputerguru » Sat Feb 27, 2010 1:14 pm

Hi All,

Been reading the forums for months now, finally decided to join, especially since I was wondering if anybody has come across the same problem as me. I just received the PulseOx 7500 Oximeter and was pretty excited until I went to install the software. Almost immediately Norton Antivirus went crazy and pointed to several Executable files on the Disc indicating that they were known spyware and/or virus. At first I thought perhaps Norton AntiVirus was being over zealous and falsely reporting this. However, I uploaded several of the EXE files to http://www.virustotal.com where it scans via 40 different or so antivirus programs. Sadly most of them detected and indicated that indeed the software for the Disc was infected. Anybody else have this issue, any thoughts are welcome. I have an support e-mail into SPO medical with no response yet. Thx!

Last message on that thread says that was resolved:
