It's very hard to advice on a mask choice, since everyone's facial structure, etc is so different.

In my experience, it is trial and error and try another one!

I am sorry, Do you mean the un-comfortgel full face? Yes, it was a leaking machine and not comfortable at all.

One that is very popular here is the Quattro and Ultra Mirage Full Face. I triedl the Ultra Mirage and I couldn't stop the leaks.
I tried also the Liberty (it is a hybrid, with pillow for the nose and one mouth piece), also a lot of leaks.

I am one the guys that has quit the idea of a full face mask, I am using a nasal pillow opus 360.
Everyone is different so you will have to try one that works for you.

I've been on CPAP for ~3 months. I started with the CG full and eventually went to the CG Nasal with great results. I use the CG full when I'm congested with a cold - last night. I switched from the FF to the Nasal because of nose bridge sores and leaks. I resolved the FF nose bridge and leaks by fitting the mask while lying down and using the ramp.

You'll get lots of feeback here on masks. Basically its a personal issue based on many parameters. Be patient and stick with it.

Successful CPAP therapy has changed my life.

Supposedly I can't use the nasal mask because Im a mouth breather. I am really frustrated.

that mask sucks.....I tried.

The Mirage Quattro is a little better.

still frustrated and I see the doctor tommorrow.

If I wear a chin strap with the full face mask, it does help...most of my leaking seems to be around my mouth.

It can be very difficult to find a mask, especially a full face mask, that fits properly. Some people find that the ComfortGel full face mask works well for them. The ComfortGel nasal mask can be heated in hot water to mold it to your face to make it fit better, I do not know if that can be done with the full face mask.. Check the directions for your mask to see if it can also be fitted after heating it in hot water. Make sure that you follow the instructions carefully because you can burn yourself if you don't cool the mask properly before placing it on your face.

Thanks so much! I have a Quattro full face ordered. My comfortgel was ok but when it ramped up to 8 it leaks and I tightened it and stopped the leaks but have a bad headache and the bridge of my nose is sore. It is great to not feel so all alone. Has anyone tried a didgeridoo to strengthen the throat??
