Going from sea level to about 6000 feet above...

Post by Goldrush73 » Thu Feb 11, 2010 1:39 pm

Do I need to adjust anything on my CPAP equipment or will it auto adjust? I'm a total newbie (only using CPAP for a week now). I could not find any definitive answers doing a search on the forum. Thanks.

Hope you don't get an altitude headache, but don't blame that on the cpap.

You will find that your humidifier settings will probably be different (lower heat needed, most likely), and that you will go through more water at altitude.
