It seems odd that the company say it has to do with a light breath or heavy breath. When it is running it is incredibly sensitive to even the slightest exhalation. Sometimes it seems like it knows I am exhaling before I do. Oh Boy, a few more hours and I can go test it out some more. I appreciate all your responses. I have really enjoyed reading the posts here in the last month or so.

I have a bit more fascinating information regarding my remstar auto a/flex and me. When I went to bed last night, I huffed and I puffed and it would not fire up till I pressed the button. I had a very nice 8 hours of sleep, had to get up to go to the bathroom, put the mask back on and it came on automatically and quickly. I'm not worrying.

I think I have figured something out. If I just put on the mask and start breathing through my nose, it may or may not start. If I put the mask on, take a fairly deep inhalation by mouth and exhale through my nose it seems to start every time.
