If you do a search on the phrase (in quotes), you'll get several pages of them. To tide you over, here's an interesting usage by some feller named "Dreamstalker":

"However, I'm confused as to how Arkansas, sisters, tornadoes, and mobile homes fit into the subject of your claims that people sneak across the border to get free health care ... please explain."

fidelfs wrote:We cannot have health to be based in profit. Many people will die. Well, for Mr. Glen Beck says that in capitalism is acceptable the death of people than cannot pay for the medication. Ummmm.... he never said anything like that! He wants to see all these things become affordable to most people, and then provide for the needy. Medication shouldn't cost a fortune. I mean, why is it that Wal-mart's the only one that can provide prescriptions for $5? But, that's one of the frustrating problems with Healthcare reform. A deal was made early on with pharma in order to get their support. This deal doesn't make sense on either end of the political spectrum. Liberals should hate it because it de-regulates them in many areas. Conservatives should hate it because essentially, the government is paying them off with taxpayer money through Medicare. Government getting into bed with corporations is a bad idea. I think liberals and conservatives should agree on that.
He said that, I normally watch his show because I like some of his thoughts not all of them, just some. I was disgusted when he explained how is acceptable in capitalism to have some deaths from people that cannot afford health insurance. While big insurance and pharma keep having big profit due to the people than can afford them. He said if poor people cannot go to a Hospital for let's say because they got cancer, then that's ok, this way the system won't be overwhelm and keep functioning in optimal way. He said that after years of research, big pharma will find a cure and will be used more widely and the price will go down and then those poor people will able to afford it. He said let the free market work and then we can cure cancer, Alzheimer, etc, a few death are acceptable.....

My point is that it is the system we have now. We cannot have it anymore, don't ask what should we have, because I don't know.
There are some type of cancer that is almost certain death, i.e. pancreatic cancer so, Is that enough the reason to deny poor help, just because they most certainly died? Not, in my book.

Here is a fairly successful rebuttal on this topic that includes some facts and constructive arguments and perhaps even a bit witty of a video clip (a little dated but still fun) for this thread -

Amen! Unfortunately, that "fertilizer" is pretty much all some libs have.

To a liberal, "free" means "paid for with someone else's money"!

A interesting letter from a Doctor here in Nebraska to our backroom dealing Senator Nelson. I trust my current Internal medicines and nephrology doctor and hope this health care bill will not effect my care or my Physician's compensation for services rendered in any negitve way. They deserve their Money.

Dear Senator Nelson:

I send this message under “Tort Reform” because the current monstrosity you have pledged your support to says nothing whatsoever about Tort Reform. You have sold the physicians of Nebraska for zilch (zilch for us, but beaucoup federal bucks for you and the liberal partisans in this state). As a family practice physician in Small Town, Nebraska, I was counting on you to be the lone voice of Democratic sanity on this issue, but you sold me out. I will dedicate
every spare minute of my time and every spare dollar I have to defeating you, should you run for re-election. The long hours I spent on my medical education and the long hours I spend treating my patients are nothing but chump change to you and your Democrat colleagues in Washington. I especially can’t wait for your equivocation and milquetoast evasion when your “compromises” on the abortion language in the bill are silently erased or quietly (on-little-legislative-cat’s-feet) eviscerated in the House/Senate give-and-take. Go on: Bet me that you won’t wuss-out on this issue!

I know you won’t give two-seconds to this letter, but I had to write it. I’m a primary care doctor in YOUR state, and you sold me out. I didn’t slog through 4 years of college and 4 years of medical school and 3 years of residency just to have you hand my career and my patient/doctor relationships over to government lifers. Your gutless acquiescence to Obama and Harry Reid and ‘Nanny’ Pelosi will NOT be forgotten.

Thank you, Ben, for forcing doctors like me to earn less than the repairmen who fix our appliances. Case in point: We recently had our dishwasher fixed. The repairman who came to our house charged $65 just to come and ‘diagnose’ the problem, then charged another $180 to ‘fix’ the problem. You and your fellow lawmakers have fixed MY going rate (Medicare) at $35 per-visit. Thank you for securing such a ‘lucrative’ rate for me! Thank you so much for making me–someone with 8 years of education!–make less than a mechanic or appliance repair technichian. And thanks especially for falling in line with Obama and the rest of the Democrats to make such a socialist system permanent.

You have my disgust and disdain forever, you socialist-coddling coward.

Sincerely,
Becky F. Hollibaugh, D.O.

As usual, the Link always quoting out of context and spinning semi-facts into total fiction. I just know you have worked for the Bill'o before.

But now you have moved on to becoming a liar. The serach brings up 1 page that actually has the exact combination of "free health care" with 4 total matches, one of which is this thread (perhaps 2 now with this post) and of course I'm quoting someone else, the other three are on one other thread where again I'm responding to someone else who used the combination.

Link needs to change his username to LiarC cuz that what he is.

Let's put the whole post up to see the facts -

You speak as an authority on the subject and I fail to accept that you are one. I've driven through Arkansas before, but that doesn't mean I married my sister. Heck, I've lived in a mobile home before, but that doesn't make me an expert on tornados either.
I'm no authority on the subject or any other for that matter nor did I claim to be. goose was the one that lived in Mexico but I don't think he claimed to be an authority on the subject either.

However, I'm confused as to how Arkansas, sisters, tornadoes, and mobile homes fit into the subject of your claims that people sneak across the border to get free health care ... please explain.
And here is the link to that other one thread if you want the REAL FACTS and not the LiarC fiction -

Lots of hate and vitriol in that post, so this is how one doctor feels in Nebraska.

What if the physicians in this country organized into labor unions and were able to negotiate higher wages, facilitate work slow-down, fewer hours and better labor conditions with the threat of strike whenever the opposition stood in their way. Think this cant happen, read the following:

http://www.drlaw.com/uploadedfiles/34/3 ... 400c51.pdf

Its already happening.

You said you "missed that combination" and asked for directions. I directed you to a post where YOU used that very phrase. Not a "paste" from someone else....YOU typed it. I thought that was ironic...and somewhat humorous, considering your implication you'd never even seen it before.

I referred to the phrase itself...no context expressed or implied.

Searching on "free health care" (in quotes) gets me 29 messages on 2 pages. I didn't say how many included the EXACT phrase. Nor did I count the threads 'cause I don't really care. I said "several pages". "Several" can mean "an indefinite, but small, number". That is the sense in which I used it.

You said you "missed that combination". You not only saw it, you commented on it. And you TYPED it. It has nothing to do with context.

Please point out what part of that is a "lie" or "total fiction". Don't worry about your quoted statement...that one's a given.

(You seem to have caught the name-calling-disease from autocrap!)

The one that looks like an "l"...for loser. (Shouldn't that be a capital "L"?)

The link to France was interesting. I do not know if these idiots we sent to Washington seriously even analyzed other delivery systems. They seem to be hell bent on jamming this down or shoving this up the American people. If you are not part of the solution then you are part of the problem. These closed not open to public meetings should tell you something about this legislation. Oh and need we mention having to buy votes. This legislation should not meet anyone's standards. 2010 and 2012 elections the American people have a chance to show these people how we really feel at the polls. Seems the are not interested in listening when people speak and write. There seems to be more of an agenda or some goal to reach more than crafting a real piece of health care reform legislation that will work well for this country. I know my two Senators from Illinois are part of the problem so one knows he could not win an election after his appointment the other well he has been there far too long and here is hopes he is gone. It is past time to clean house and get rid of the corruption.

Actually, I guessed the right finger...just not the owner.

And it appears I was right about your confusion over the phrase in question. You've had no rational rebuttal.

(Please, please, abide by your rule. I'm counting on ya!) Be gone!
