Encore Viewer capabilities and Smart Card reader

Hi all,

I regularly posted here a few years ago, so long-timers might remember me. (Hi rested gal!) Back then, I was the proud owner of Encore Pro v1.8.49, an M Series Pro, and a card reader. Sadly, my M Series stopped gathering data, which shot my compliance.

I went back to the sleep clinic last month. I loved my old M Series Pro, so I got the same machine. I still have Encore Pro. The problem is that I can't find my card reader anywhere! This means that, at the very least, I have to buy a new card reader. Before I do my retail therapy, I've got a few questions:

• 1. Will newer card readers work with my old version of Encore Pro? Or will I also have to buy Encore Viewer?
  
  2. Encore Pro downloads and saves detailed data to a SQL database on my hard drive. IMO, this is the most valuable part of Encore Pro. Does Encore Viewer store and report on data indefinitely or does it only report on the data currently on the Smart Card?
  
  3. Does Encore Viewer run all of the same detailed reports as Encore Pro?

Your Encore Pro 1.8 will work the same as it's the same TECH. Jim
