thewetlizard, I hope you are able to achieve all your goals for the new year!!! I know that you've had a difficult time with CPAP. I'm sure you realize that if you start using the CPAP every night, you will be closer to achieving your goal of a HEALTHIER new year! I hope that by this time next year you will have figured out the solutions to your CPAP challenges and feel MUCH better!
Best wishes,

Very impressive Lena. The details are exquisite.BlackSpinner wrote:Several more dolls at least - they are small - Think Barbies. So it takes a lot to fill up a space. Each takes at least 30-50 hours to create.carbonman wrote:

How much art work do you need for a show and when is the show???
Have to find a gallery - that is the hardest part. Marketing myself.
The second hardest part is giving myself permission to work on my dolls - after the housework, the volunteer work, the family commitments, ....
I have committed to be part of a show in the spring sometime which will be with other artists, I will probably be organizing part of it ... sigh... But at least then I don't have to take the risk of being rejected by the organizers.
I have a work in progress right now that I had planned to work on this week - except I have been sick all week so now the bloody 16 night gowns are going to take its place.

Since going on CPAP I wake up like the Freyr every morning.
My new year's goal is to dive into the well a lot more often.

Wow Muse -- how'd you find my resolutions list? 2-6 are on my list too! Someone told me I'm a dreamer and I have great ideas but this year, I want to become a doer and actually put some of those ideas into action! A few years ago I treated myself to a a high end embroidery machine that for the most part had been gathering dust. This Christmas I used it to make some gifts (proof that my CPAP therapy is slowly working as I actually had the patience to relearn how to use it and create some embroidered gifts.) I also want to stop being such a hermit and start getting back out into the world! My biggest goal is to just get more mentally and physically healthy. Happy New Year to all and good luck with your resolutions / goals! Meet you back here next year to check in! Great Idea Carbonman!Muse-Inc wrote:1. Find a source of income.

My 10 for 10 Goals ... It's going to be a good year!
1. Achieve my optimal body composition by end of year ... don't really know what my optimal is but I expect it to be less than 15% body fat.
2. Get up to speed on knowledge regarding nutrigenomics ... this may require first building a knowledge base in basic biochemistry and genetics, well outside my current foundations.
3. Create a blog to document my health achievements and perhaps help others on a similar journey ... I hope to have the blog startup by end of January and then upload articles on a bi-weekly basis.
4. Take full advantage of the opportunity given to me by my job supervisor to begin the year leading a new research team ... I expect and look forward to more travel in this new position.
5. Finish my planned landscaping projects from last year ... add one more rose bed, build a garden utility shed (to free up garage/workshop space), build a green house for growing tomatoes and peppers and plant a plum or pomegrante tree in the backyard before summer begins.
6. Replace two large carpeted areas in the house with laminate flooring ... just something that needs to be done by fall.
7. Convert upstairs game-room area into a kitty romper room for the 4 family cats ... build and install catwalks and large cubby holes and tunnels after laminate flooring is installed.
8. Finish my acoustic engineering plans for my music listening room ... building and strategically installing bass traps and acoustical absorbing and reflective panels.
9. Devote at least one-day a month to working on my audiophile speaker projects ... about half dozen right now.
10. Spend at least 2 hours per week playing my guitar ... once music room is finished.
So until next year, I hope that everyone has a great year and even better health ... after all, good health is what life is all about, the rest is just icing on the cake.
