Haha ok ok. I will. But they'll prob just tell me to start taking some allergy pills and lose some weight and come back if it doesnt get better. Which I *am* planning on doing. Think I should do that first?

Some insurances require for you to get a referal from your physician, some don't. Mine did not need a referal (Aetna PPO). Also there are several treatments for apnea and CPAP is one of them. You can also have an operation or a dental appliance might be the thing for you.
Become creative woth your employer You have cetrain rights to take care of you health as far as employment is conerned. But I sugges for you to become "creative" and get a day or two of unpaid leave if you have to.
I also got very depressed that I needed a machine to sleep every night. But think about the possibility of getting up every morning and feeling refreshed averyday. Your quality of life might change for the better.
Reading this forum was very helpful for me to realize I am not alone and also get a lot of my questions answered.
As Nike says, "Just do it".
Good luck
I don't do mornings !!!

Yeah I would give just about anything to be able to feel refreshed for more than 5 minutes a day, if that. It is just that the employer makes it hard to do. I work in an office where, if I am not here, everyone is screwed. So therefore, we can only take very much advance time off, and I do not have any of time off left, paid or unpaid. Its pretty much, Im not at work, take that time to find a new job. It isnt very lenient because it is a small office where they require that i am here every day at the same times. So I understand where they are coming from. I already used the vacation time that I already had so they therefore they dont have to let me go. But I will see what I can do. I have blue cross blue shield and I am not sure if they need a referal or not. I have a minnesota sleep institute/center right next to my work (like a block) so maybe I will go there.
