A Thank You to my Husband

Post by Sleepless on LI » Tue Oct 04, 2005 1:31 pm

I wanted to just say "thanks" to my husband who just informed me that although I do spend a lot of time up here in my lair, on the computer talking on this site, that he does understand what I'm doing and he's glad that it makes me feel good to do it.

Just when you think they can't possibly understand, they go and surprise the heck out of you. It makes it easier for me if I know he can relate to what I'm doing and accepts it. I guess he's one of the good ones. I think I'll keep him.

LOL - Oh, ye of so little faith...he really happens to be one of the good ones. A little unique in his ways, but a good one.

I see an ulterior motive lurking in the distance.
He's wanting new power tools or something.

WooHoo! Life is good.

Frostman,

Like a true hot-blood Itallian man, he ALWAYS wants "something..."

And, Peg, if he had any more power tools, we'd have to move out and start moving them from the garage into the house.

Or do what I had to do and go rent part of a building to be your shop!

However just after I did that the sleep apnea really kicked my feet out from under me, so for 10 months it has just been expensive storage. Now that it we are almost into the cooler weather, that is about to change!

He's got his own quirks, as does everyone else. But, all in all, I don't think I'd trade him for anyone else, except maybe Brad Pitt, or Al Pacino (a crush of mine), or maybe Mick Jagger (I know, he didn't age that well, but he looks like my husband in his younger years), or Steven Tyler, or...you know I'm kidding, right?

(I'll bet you're saying, other than Brad Pitt, "She has strange taste in men." Always have.)

Are you agreeing, I have strange taste in men? I think that's what I am understanding it to mean. I can't imagine anyone else agreeing with my choices, other than Mr. Pitt, of course.
