Can't refind a post

Post by Joe50 » Wed Dec 09, 2009 8:06 am

I can't find it because I can't remember the question I asked to get me there.
It was a Picture that showed how the different cpap machines got to their AHI rating.
Thanks for any help.

Hi Joe. Go to the top of the page, left side, and click on "view your posts". You will get a list of your posts that you can look through. Hope this helps.

Hi, I think you can only do that within an hour or so after originally submitting.

You can't delete it completely after there has been at least one reply made in that thread after your post.

An easy way to erase it for all practical purposes though, is to "Edit" your post, which you can do any time. You can erase everything in a post that's been replied to, as long as you leave at least one character in your message. Just leave a dot in the message. That will keep you from getting the "not enough text" message.
.

Another way (which I would NOT suggest doing) to delete your own post if it's already been replied to is to use the SPAM button on your own post. But that's not a good idea. The SPAM button is supposed to be used only on blatant advertising spam-type messages. Not on your own messages or anyone else's. A person can lose their SPAM deletion privileges and even lose their membership on the message board if he/she abuses the SPAM button (abuse being spam-deletion of other's posts just because you don't like what was said.)

Hey, Joe, is this what you're looking for--the now-famous Velbor Chart? or something else?

I think the question should be - "Why are you trying to delete your post?"

Well, that and some "lack of insight and wisdom" (another way to say stupidy) I seem to have displayed.
(must have been because of sleep deprivation)
I can relate, packitin. I think we are all embarrassed by our early posts. But allowing others to see that chronological progress can be an encouragement to newbies, I would think. Let those posts stand, I say.
