Mask is rolling inward and collapsing

Post by atruvirgo » Mon Dec 07, 2009 10:50 pm

I was wondering if the reason the edges of my nasal mask (Soyala Nasal) is rolling in and collapsing recently is due to wear. Is this a sign of a worn out seal. I haven't put that many hours on it but, that's all I can come up with.

How often do you clean it? How tight are you making it? How long have you worn it?

I have had it about 5-6 months. I wash it daily. It is not tight but, still snug enough to keep it in place.

Well, unless you've suddenly started using cold cream or something slithery, it's probably just gotten old.

I use the Soyala Nasal mask and like it. The one I am using now is about 6 months old and does not have the problems you report. You can purchase a replacement cushion for this mask from CPAP.com.
