Last Call for Avatar Photos

Post by Sleepless on LI » Sun Oct 02, 2005 8:24 pm

Before I update the "Yearbook" with photos and screen/real names, I am going to ask if anyone else want to be in it. If so, please post your photo in this thread and I will add it to the new updated one.

Thanks!

Oh, I don't know. I think tbone looks a little like Tony Orlando without the Dawn, don't you think?

No, tbone, I ain't gonna post my pic. My peeps would get jealous.
Be still my heart, baby (or Zapata, or whoever you are)!

DSM,

I love the idea. I can put it along side the photos I already have for everyone, like before's and after's.

By the way, is that really tbone or is he using someone else's photo again, like Hannibal Lechter last time? I can't post anything but REAL LIFE photos of everyone who is in the "yearbook." If any one else wants to do a bogus one, be my guest. But I am following in the same direction Rock & Roll took when he asked everyone to please give a real photo of themselves. No one needs to see a comic strip picture that they've seen all along or a photo from a movie actor. We want the REAL YOU!!!

So, I repeat, is that really tbone before I put him in the yearbook again? I took out the last entry of his, and unfortunately SnoreNoMore's comic strip picture as that, too, is not a photo.

And I'm sorry, Sharon/Severeena, I will only post your pretty face when you decide to put it on the site. No little puppies, even though they're cute!

I don't have any baby pictures. I am the youngest of 4 kids and my dad was really sick before I was even born (died when I was so I guess they didn't have time for pictures. Sorry

HI, AMY!!! GOOD TO SEE YOU BACK!!!! Hope this is a sign of your feeling well.

I think what happened in your last post, when you typed probably a number, it came out as a smiley wearing sunglasses. I tried to type something using a number once in a post, too, and the same thing happened. Sometimes that happens when you type numbers next to letters, so you have to disable the smileys in that post. I'm not sure which number you typed, but I don't think you meant to put in that smiley in that spot.

Amy tried to say about her Dad "(died when I was 8 )"

All you have to do is put a space between the '8' and the ')' so it doesn't turn into a smiley. That one caught me once.

Thanks, Bill. I knew it was something to do with typing a particular number with smileys enabled. You cleared that one up for me. All life's problems should be solved so easily.

Are you talking about this GUY, I wish I look as tough as him!!!

As for the Tony Orlando, I get that from time to time... I'll try and get a better picture, the web cam was only out of the box 2 mins before I had to leave.

I think we're still missing lindas88 or the Lduyer -- we need to call them out!

How about for yourself and others in the same boat, you put in a pic of one of your own kids, if none of them then grandkid, if none of them grab one from a relative that you think is most like yourself when a pup

tbone,

If that is truly you, leave it just the way it is. Don't be ridiculous. Everyone had me wondering if you took another photo from someone perhaps I didn't know that is famous. But don't change a thing. That one will work just fine.
