Post by akcpapguy » Thu Dec 03, 2009 12:25 pm

I just wanted to come and showoff my new humidifier and tubing to those who I know would appreciate it the most.

Canada...I can't say anything nice, so I won't say anything at all.

So many cats, so few recipes.

The OSA patient died quietly in his sleep.
Unlike his passengers who died screaming as the car went over the cliff...

You're a good'un, akcpapguy, so...I gotta say, you deserve good things like that.

Whatta humidifier!! Good for you!!

I'm assuming the air hose with wire inside works with any brand of flow generator...not just F&P flow generators?

Thanks RG, and yes and no. The tubing is specific to this humidifier since it has a temp probe which sits at the patient end to ensure that the temp of the air delivered to the patient is what is set on the humidifier. So the patient temp and the humidifier temp can have a fairly large difference between them.

It's porbably overkill for general CPAP usage, but it's cool to look at and play with!!!

Thanks for the explanation. That's better than an electric train to play with, isn't it?
